Dr. Ahmet Erol is an Associate Professor in the Department of Preschool Education at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Education, specializing in early childhood education and STEM/STEAM pedagogies. He earned his PhD and master’s degrees in Preschool Education from Pamukkale University and his bachelor’s degree in Classroom Teaching from Celal Bayar University. His professional career has been centered on advancing early childhood education through research, teaching, and national scientific projects, including several TÜBİTAK-funded initiatives focusing on STEM education, environmental awareness, and self-regulation development in young children. As a researcher and educator, Dr. Erol has made substantial contributions to the integration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into early learning environments, developing innovative pedagogical models that enhance creativity, problem-solving, and cognitive development. His prolific publication record spans leading international journals, covering topics such as engineering habits of mind, family-involved STEM education, ecological footprint awareness, and teacher professional development. He has co-authored several academic book chapters and presented his work at numerous international conferences. Dr. Erol also serves in editorial and review capacities for several indexed journals, including positions as editor and board member of the Temel Eğitim Dergisi and assistant editor for the Pamukkale University Journal of Education.
