Dr. Shinichi Watanabe is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at Gifu University of Health Science, specializing in ICU early rehabilitation, mobilization dose quantification, diaphragm ultrasound assessment, and functional outcome prediction. He has contributed extensively to national multicenter networks including IPAM, IPAMICS, BRIDGE, and J-RELIFE, completing more than 15 large-scale cohort and observational studies. His research focuses on rehabilitation metrics, respiratory and critical care rehabilitation, and data-driven prognostication.
